I need to do a story for nanowrimo, but I can't decide between the 'realistic' and the fantasy.

The 'realistic', isn't too realistic. I wanted to do a story about a guy that gets fed up with his life, and decides while he's at school that he doesn't want to go back home.

He finds the car of a girl he barely knows and hides in her back seat with no real plan whatsoever. she discovers him while she's driving and after the initial scare she allows him to spend the night in her car, which continues and a friendship begins to develop.

Also the kid is slightly batshit. He wakes up in the middle of the night convinced that he's killed her sometimes, or he hears voices that he knows are of his own fabrication. I think it could be fun.


Oh, and fantasy. I don't know. It has a setting, society, infrastructure and shit but no plot. Its basically a society formed by this guy named Malom, who actually formed 4 races specefically bred to play a certain role. It would take journals upon journals to explain. but with all that information I have no plot. I'll end up doing both at some point so I'll try to draw the races this week after the yearbook pressure is off.
